"Pride and Prejudice" by the IPFW Department of Theatre

  • IPFW 2101 East Coliseum Boulevard Fort Wayne, IN, 46805 United States (map)

Presented by the  IPFW Department of Theatre, this story surrounds Elizabeth Bennet, the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living in Longbourn. Adapted for the stage by Marcus Goodwin, Elizabeth deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of the British Regency in the 19th century. Mr. Darcy, the rich, eligible and status-conscious neighbor, is disdainful of local society and repeatedly clashes with the lively Elizabeth.

Held at the Williams Theatre on the IPFW campus.
